In the course of study, the graduates will possess comprehensive skills and competencies of lawful recognition, combating, and counteracting internal threats. They will have basic knowledge in the field of social sciences, human rights, and principles of functioning of the state (political system, division of power, structure, tasks, and principles of functioning of state bodies).
The graduates are prepared to work in public administration, with a focus on in public administration, focusing on organisational units of state and local government services responsible for internal security (the Police, Internal Security Agency, Border Guard, Government Protection Bureau, Municipal Guards). He/she can also take up employment in organizations dealing with citizens' security and economic entities and crisis response teams. He/she has the skills to start a business in the field of protection of persons and property or the field of other activities or in other security-related activities. As regards the employers in the region, the anticipated places of employment for graduates of the As far as regional employers are concerned, the expected places of employment for graduates of the Bachelor's degree in Internal Security are in particular: numerous Border Guard posts, district police stations, military units, or local governments (municipalities and cities). Graduates of the bachelor's degree are prepared to start second-cycle studies.

The specialization is aimed at people who would like to start work in institutions and services connected with safety and security after graduation. The advantage of this specialization is its practical character and well-qualified and experienced teaching staff. The knowledge and experience gained within this specialization will facilitate the graduates' employment in uniformed services and may be an important asset in the recruitment process to formations and services responsible for national security.

  • Cyberterrorism and information security

This specialization allows you to work as a network administrator or as a plenipotentiary in public administration (PKOC), and your studies will make you: a desirable employee, knowing how to build structures to secure networks against hacker attacks. They will acquire competencies in information security policy and will be able to navigate in different areas of system data protection activities - logic, technology, and cryptography. They will learn about the typical threats that can be encountered in cyberspace and how to secure ICT resources. They will gain knowledge in the field of information protection and security, protection of classified information, rules of access to public information, ICT security as well as security of information and IT networks. They will learn about institutions and organizations that have an impact on network security, information and IT aspects of crisis management, methods of acquiring information about threats, as well as problems of information protection in organizations and institutions, and the information security policy of the Republic of Poland.
